A Chicago-born singer who attended Northwestern University, John Park made the top 20 of American Idol season 9 in 2010 and became famous in Korea as runner-up on Mnet's Superstar K2 the same year. He officially debuted in 2012 with the mini-album Knock. On variety shows he is known for a lovable image as a naengmyeon (cold noodle) devotee, but on TVING's The Time Hotel (2023) he acted as his alliance's brain with calm calculation and careful time management, and won. He is also a regular on Jung Jong-yeon's Netflix show Agents of Mystery, and was introduced in season 3 as The Time Hotel's champion.
