On The Genius: Black Garnet he upended his brash-comedian image with leader-style play, building the board himself, and won. He went on to win The Genius: Grand Final, Society Game 2 and Bloody Game 3 as well, earning the nicknames 'God Dong-min' and 'God of Survival'. He is regarded as an all-rounder who combines politics and mind games with memory and math. Season 3's announcement highlighted his five straight survival wins and his reunion with Oh Hyun-min, his Black Garnet ally.
